Maintains and supports specified installed application software products, licensing, and contracts. Additionally, this position will include responsibilities to use appropriate architecture computer tools to develop streamlined pathways, data collection, document flow and reports required to support integration projects. This position will also include participating in the evaluation, planning, design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance and support of IT integration and expansion projects.

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
- Demonstrates accountability in delivering assigned task. Reports project issues and accomplishments to the Assistant Director of Integration and Expansion.
- Analyzes and documents current and future needs and workflows through interviews and gathering data regarding regulatory requirements, operational procedures and hospital/departmental policies.
- Participates in the planning, development, implementation, maintenance, support and evaluation of clinical and/or business application systems as assigned.
- These activities may include system design, documentation of design decisions, workflow redesign and documentation, data collection, database building, testing and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work under indirect supervision to design, document, build, and modify complex critical applications in order to best meet the needs of the organization.
- Demonstrates knowledge of tools such as process flow documentation and base level project reporting.
- Able to research stakeholder requests for optimizations using various tools including vendor application resources.
- Understands various healthcare settings for business operations, the roles within those settings and workflows that support business operations.
- Works closely with partner IT teams and vendors to gain an understanding of integration between all clinical and business applications.
- Understands application impacts and dependencies within the clinical and business departments and resources.
- Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of current trends and issues in healthcare business practices, healthcare informatics, national and state-wide standards and regulations, enterprise policies and procedures as relates to business practice, and the legal implications of business systems.
- Participates and contributes in various team meetings, develops competence in the area of mentoring new analysts and demonstrates excellent customer services skills.
- Works as assigned and as necessary in a 24/7 command center.
- Assists Applications Analysts in end-user and system support; including investigation, troubleshooting, testing and resolution of reported problems.
- Contributes and participates in turnover documentation and presentations when projects are complete and a handoff to other teams for support is conducted.
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of test scripts, as workflows change based on software changes or application integration requirements.
- Documents status and issues of testing and participates in troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Reviews and validates ""current state"" vs ""future state"" workflow documentation with Enterprise Applications Learning and Development teams for curriculum development. May also serve as facilitator during training events.
- Reviews training questions during training events and helps to document responses.
- Stewards the facilitation of gathering IT contracts for compliance and review between various IT teams, internal business partners, and vendors.
- Proactively communicates and collaborates with external and internal customers to analyze needs and functional requirements.
- Collaborates with developers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to establish the technical requirements and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
- Participates in knowledge sharing and the continuous refinement/development of internal processes and systems.
- Serves as the internal project manager for short-term projects as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Required Education and Experience
- Associates Degree in computer science or related field or 1:1 work experience in an IT related field
- 1 or more years experience in a Healthcare IT setting
- 1 or more years specializing in systems implementations, merger integration, business transformation, and change management
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree in computer science or related field or 2:1 equivalent years’ experience
- 3 or more years experience in healthcare IT operations setting
Preferred Licensure and Certification
- Technical certifications related to ITIL, Windows Administration, or other IT or system related field of study
Knowledge Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge and demonstrated application of methodologies and frameworks in Project Management and Software Development Lifecyle
