Devin is hard working, team-oriented and driven to be the best version of himself. He has been in the Emergency Department for the last two years and, in that time, has grown exponentially as a nurse.

Devin always demonstrates an upbeat, positive attitude. His peers say, “He is very energetic and a compassionate – always willing to go above and beyond for any one of us."

He participates in monthly staff meetings and has joined the Shared Governance Committee for the University of Kansas Health System, Great Bend Campus.

Emergency Department Care

The University of Kansas Health System – Great Bend Campus Emergency Department is a 5-bed, Level IV Trauma Center. The nursing and provider staff have worked hard to keep our community healthy through the COVID pandemic. There were an additional 3 rooms added for efficiency due to our increased volume in a fast-paced rural setting. The Emergency Department has the ability to consult general surgery, orthopedics, pediatrics, family practice and obstetrics/gynecological physicians who are local to take care of every season of life.
