At our ambulatory surgery centers at KU MedWest and Indian Creek Campus, we provide same-day outpatient surgical care in friendly, comfortable surroundings for our patients. The centers have surgical suites and private pre-operative rooms where family can stay with patients before their procedures.
Our Ambulatory Department has multiple outpatient locations throughout the Kansas City area. Our team of over 900 physicians and 2,000 staff across hundreds of clinics (190+) provide services and outpatient procedures for some 1.2 million outpatient visits each year.
Our Ambulatory Nursing team now offers a robust, 16-week New Graduate Nurse orientation program. New grads can gain important Medical/Surgical and specialty-care knowledge working Monday through Friday, building trusting, caring relationships with patients and working side by side with providers.
