Physician - Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Non-Anesthesia Pain Management
The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) is seeking a board certified/board eligible physiatrist for full time faculty position with specialized training and interest in Spine, Pain, and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation. Applicants are invited at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Professor (tenure or non-tenure track) based on experience.
Qualified candidates will have a special interest in spine and pain management, musculoskeletal and/or sports medicine, and have completed a fellowship in Interventional Spine, Pain Management, or Sports Medicine. Candidates will also be board certified/eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.The selected candidate will be practicing in our state-of-the-art 29 bed inpatient rehabilitation unit while also building their outpatient physiatry practice at multiple locations.
Candidates should possess excellent clinical skills and a strong interest in education and research.Clinical and basic science research is encouraged and supported. Laboratory facilities are also available.All faculty are required to take an active role in our integrated residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine fellowship program.
Required Qualifications:
MD or DO
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine
Preferred Qualifications:
Fellowship training in Spine/Pain Management
Special skills in Spine/Pain Management
