The Data Analyst plays a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data. The primary objective of this role is to ensure data accuracy and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that drive business initiatives forward. This role requires a thorough understanding of supply chain processes and data flows between multiple source systems including ERP, EMR, and GPO. The Data Analyst will utilize this data to create analytical scenarios, KPIs, and visuals to help improve outcomes, enable savings, and support operational improvements.

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
- Support initiatives through data analysis and the development of data visualizations
- Conduct data interpretation to identify trends and patterns
- Complete the gathering and cleaning processes for data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and quality
- Utilize industry benchmarking analysis through appropriate clinical and professional organizations
- Generate comprehensive reports and visually appealing dashboards to present data analysis findings
- Gather data and produce accurate and timely analytics for department leaders
- Assist in the planning and design of data analytic projects
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects by developing tools and standard templates
- Assist with defining data standards and definitions
- Present to cross- functional teams on the results of projects and data analysis
- Produce financial analysis for cost savings initiatives
- Identify KPIs and develops metrics to track and measure business performance
- Monitors data quality to identify data issues and propose data cleansing or enhancement solutions
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis, visualization, and reporting
- Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field of study from an accredited college or university. OR
- 6 or more years of supply chain experience in data analysis. AND
- 3 or more years of experience in data analysis and structured report writing in a healthcare environment
Required Language Skills
- Fluent English -
Knowledge Requirements
- Superior communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently with varying deadlines and levels of importance.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite with a focus on Excel.
- Proficient with database building and maintenance.
- Ability to work within a team or individually for project completion.
- Workday ERP knowledge.
- Operational Inventory knowledge.
- Health System item master knowledge.
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices to effectively communicate insights
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex datasets and generate meaningful insights
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex data findings
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy and integrity
