Physician - Neuro-Hospitalist

The Department of Neurology at The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a neurohospitalist to join its dynamic team and support the departmental mission of delivering the highest quality of care. Candidates who are newly trained as well as experienced physicians are encouraged to apply.

In this role, the candidate will diagnose, treat, and manage neurology patients in an inpatient setting. They will provide care and consultative services for acute neurological disorders. The schedule follows a “7 days on/7 days off” model, with opportunities for additional shifts or outpatient clinic work for extra compensation.

Candidates may also have the opportunity to participate in clinical teaching and research, if desired. Additional responsibilities include duties assigned by the Department Chair or those typically expected of a physician within the department.

Required Qualifications:

  • MD/DO 
  • Eligible for licensure in Kansas
  • Neurology Residency training
  • Board-Eligible or Certified in Neurology
