Position Summary / Career Interest:
The Payer Enrollment Coordinator is responsible for the managing the lifecycle of provider enrollment and credentialing with commercial and government payers. This role ensures that assigned providers (practitioners or facilities) are properly enrolled, revalidated, and maintained in payer systems to support accurate and timely reimbursement. The payer enrollment coordinator also confidentially manages all supporting documents necessary to support the enrollment process. This position is Hybrid, in office location will be Olathe Hospital in Olathe, KS.

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
- Prepare, submit timely , and track payer enrollment and credentialing applications for new and existing providers.
- Maintain accurate provider data in internal systems and payer portals.
- Monitor application status, respond to payer requests, and resolve enrollment issues promptly.
- Manage provider revalidations, recredentialing cycles, and expirables (licenses, certifications, CAQH, NPI, etc.).
- Communicate enrollment status updates to key stakeholders (revenue cycle, operations, compliance, providers).
- Collaborate with payers to ensure effective and timely processing of applications.
- Support process improvement efforts to reduce enrollment delays and denials.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of System companies and ownership structure in support accurate enrollment.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of basic governmental payer rules, billing, and payment methodologies in support of accurate enrollment.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, as assigned.
- Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Required Education and Experience
- High School Graduate
- 3 or more years Payer credentialing or enrollment
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree Business field
- 3 or more years Healthcare support experience in medical staff office, patient accounting or billing, or related function.
Preferred Licensure and Certification
- Certified Provider Enrollment Specialist (CPES, NAMSS) upon Hire
- Credentialing Specialist (AAPC)
Required Language Skills
- Fluent English -
Knowledge Requirements
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Federal portal submission experience
- Data Entry experience
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft
- Ability to work with others in collaborative role
- Strong organization skills and good time management
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
