• Assists with repairs, installations, and replacement of equipment and appliances; replaces faulty switches, sockets and other simple
  elements of electrical system; replaces transformers, lamps, bulbs and repairs/replaces lighting fixtures; assists with mounting
  motors, installation of electrical conduit and wiring of circuits; assist with pulling of wire and cable.

• Completes minor repairs, installations, and replacement of pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures; does minor repair of valves,
  fixtures, and fittings in heating and drainage; assists with the installation and repair of sinks, showers, toilets, water heaters, and
  other plumbing fixtures.

• Assists with preventive maintenance projects, such as air handlers filter replacement, cleaning of boilers and chillers, and minor
  equipment checks.

• Does clean up in shop area, electrical and mechanical rooms and plant areas; replaces stained and broken ceiling tiles
  Repairs and tests hospital beds and wheelchairs.

• Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Required Education and Experience

• Previous apprentice experience working with electrical, plumbing or carpentry projects.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Trade/vocational school with emphasis on electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
