The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a full-time Afterhours Emergency Teleradiologist to join our growing academic faculty within the Department of Radiology. This position offers the opportunity to practice in a collaborative, high-acuity academic environment while maintaining a predictable night-focused schedule.

Key Position Highlights

  • Dedicated overnight coverage within an advanced-care tertiary and quaternary academic medical center
  • Interpretation of a wide spectrum of emergency and inpatient imaging, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and plain radiography
  • Coverage includes complex trauma, stroke, and acute care imaging, supported by strong subspecialty backup
  • Advanced IT infrastructure, optimized PACS systems, efficient workflows, and on-site radiology assistants to enhance productivity
  • Optional academic involvement with opportunities to teach and mentor residents and fellows

Required Qualifications

  • MD or DO (or equivalent)
  • Completion of ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
  • ABR board certified/eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
  • Prior afterhours teleradiologist or emergency radiology experience preferred, but not required
