The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Kansas Cancer Center and The University of Kansas Health System is seeking an outstanding Radiation Oncologist to join our faculty at the Assistant Professor level.

The University of Kansas Cancer Center is an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. The University of Kansas Cancer Center has recently received a $100 million lead gift to build a new, state-of-the-art destination cancer center.
The Department of Radiation Oncology provides cancer care services throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area with over 4,300 treatment courses annually. The department has experienced tremendous growth over the past few years and currently has 24 physicians.
The department of Radiation Oncology has been recognized nationally as a leader in cancer research, care, and education and is an integral part of The University of Kansas Cancer Center, and the only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-comprehensive designated Cancer Center in the state of Kansas as well as the Kansas City metro area.
Our world-class physician faculty provide compassionate and state-of-the-art care for KU Cancer Center patients. We are leading the way with research and clinical trials that aim to improve cancer treatments, increase cure rates, decrease treatment-related side effects and improve quality of life.
As a department of KU School of Medicine, the only medical school in Kansas, we are proud to train the next generation of radiation oncologists and physicists. Our accredited medical residency and medical physics residency programs provide exceptional preparation for providers in an academic medical center environment.
