Physician - Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Oncology - Unaccredited Fellow
The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Otorhinolaryngology, is seeking an Unaccredited Fellow, Junior Faculty member, to join its rapidly growing team of Otorhinolaryngology physicians, fellows and residents. This team works collaboratively to support the departmental mission of delivering the highest quality of care, as well as satisfying teaching and academic responsibilities in a fast-paced and diverse clinical practice.
Position Summary:
This is a one-year Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Oncology Fellowship, encompassing a full spectrum of Head and Neck Oncology Surgery as well as interdisciplinary management of these patients. Clinical and research involvement.
Job Duties:
Involved as a primary or assisting surgeon on all head and neck oncology surgeries. Sees inpatient and outpatient clinical patients for various presenting complaints as it pertains to Otolaryngology. Participates in ENT call pool of faculty members taking staff call and acts as a teaching physician resource for the residents. Supervises residents on call and serves as an attending surgeon for urgent and emergent procedures during the on-call time. Has didactic teaching responsibilities including resident/medical student lectures and one or two presentations at Grand Rounds.

Required Qualifications:
- MD, DO or equivalent
- Completion of ACGME-approved Otolaryngology residency
- Board certified/eligible in Otolaryngology
- Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
