Physician - Family Medicine with Obstetrics
The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Family Medicine, is seeking a full‑time Family Medicine physician with Obstetrics to join our Olathe campus team. This faculty role offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care in an obstetrics position while engaging in teaching, scholarly activity, and service within a nationally recognized academic health system. The role includes outpatient clinic time, and inpatient opportunities can be incorporated if desired.
The ideal candidate will provide full‑spectrum family medicine with obstetrics and actively participate in the education and supervision of residents. Our department fosters a culture of work‑life integration, collegiality, and collaboration. The position offers the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population with access to comprehensive ancillary and subspecialty services, including maternal‑fetal medicine.
Required Qualifications:
- MD, DO or equivalent
- Board certified/board eligible in Family Medicine
- Eligible for medical licensure in Kansas and Missouri
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an academic environment
- Strong teaching and leadership skills
