Position Summary / Career Interest:

The Strategic Learning Relations Liaison will drive the creation, delivery, and optimization of educational initiatives and data-driven strategies that enhance learning experiences, boost operational efficiency, and foster organizational success. This role will focus on leading technology-driven initiatives to enhance wellness outcomes, providing strategic direction and leadership in the optimization and integration of the electronic medical records (EMR) and clinical computing solutions. Establishes strong collaboration to solve problems that impacts the overall health of clinical staff in partnership with information technology, informatics, and operations.


Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Serves as the HITS Learning & Development expert on the assigned team providing strategic guidance and expertise in the selection and implementation of learning platforms to support organizational goals
  • Educates organization leadership on the value of developing and managing learning programs. Partners closely with executive leadership and operational leaders to establish vision and roadmap for driving transformational educational changes with a focus on organizational agility and organizational outcomes
  • Collaborates with program leadership to decompose complex strategic objectives into manageable components of work to optimize learning outcomes
  • Maintains an understanding of short and long-term strategy for the organization or assigned area of focus. Provides expert advice on learning solutions and industry standards to provide capability to meet business needs of the organization
  • Stays up to date on L&D best practice
  • Develop and maintain relationships with team members at all levels of the organization, including executives
  • Applies a consultant mindset to educational needs to proactively develop and discuss education needs, objectives, and delivery approaches
  • Manage learning and development aspects of KLAS EHR survey
  • Strategy and planning
  • Monitor engagement surveys to identify areas of success and improvement
  • Lead initiatives to enhance EHR efficiency and user satisfaction
  • Perform detailed Signal analysis to pinpoint inefficiencies, evaluate adoption levels and measure intervention impacts
  • Advise on training strategies and improve processes for onboarding, implementation, and special projects
  • Design education plans tailored to departmental needs based on data-driven insights and feedback
  • Oversees the development of training artifacts as required to communicate learning solutions, rollout strategy, and expected impact
  • Partner with Instructional Designers to enhance curriculum and improve educational processes
  • Review of training deliverables for quality, consistency, thoroughness, and application of lessons learned from past reviews
  • Promotes collaboration and establishes clear expectations around timelines and delivery
  • Meeting coordination and facilitation of a multidisciplinary committee of clinical staff, HITS and Informatics partners
  • Develop effective internal program communication strategies using modern workplace technology
  • Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5 or more years of training experience.
  • 3 or more years of instructional design experience.
  • 3 or more years of experience with healthcare or healthcare IT


Preferred Education and Experience

  • Master's Degree
  • Experience with training planning and oversight of large transformative projects.


Knowledge Requirements

  • Working knowledge and demonstrated application of learning methodologies and frameworks
  • Excellent customer-facing and internal communication skills
  • Able to solve common design and development programs
  • Able to apply critical thinking and interpersonal skills
