Physician – General and Headache Neurologist
The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Neurology, is seeking a full-time General and Headache Neurologist to join its dynamic team on the Olathe Campus and support the departmental mission of delivering the highest quality of care. Appointment at the University of Kansas School of Medicine will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievements.
The successful candidate will be board-certified or board eligible in Neurology and have interest in headache medicine. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the role will include opportunities forteaching. Outstanding candidates at earlier stages of their careers will be considered and are encouraged to apply.
The position involves providing comprehensive care for general neurology patients, including the diagnosis and treatment of headache. Responsibilities include diagnosing, treating, and managing neurology patients in various settings, such as general neurology clinics, headache clinics, continuity clinic supervision and during inpatient consultations. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend clinical expertise, education, and scholarly pursuit within a collaborative and innovative environment.
Required Qualifications:
MD/DO or equivalent
Board-certified or board eligible in Neurology
Eligible for licensure in Kansas
