The Revenue Cycle Vendor Specialist supports our health system revenue cycle teams in all aspects of vendor management, provides oversight of all quality and performance and ensures stable and consistent vendor integration.

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
- Work with the Director and other appropriate Revenue Cycle Team members to ensure vendor is functioning in accordance with TUKHS strategic, operational, and quality metrics and goals.
- Confirm vendor compliance with all contract and statement of work agreements.
- Act as liaison between vendor and health system teams. Assist with vendor / customer calls and meetings to ensure issues are being resolved for both the vendor and our internal departments on a timely basis.
- Evaluate and work with appropriate team members to create analysis tools to monitor vendor with the appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze weekly reporting tools to identify trends and training / retraining opportunities. Provide feedback of findings to management.
- Ensure vendor has all necessary and appropriate communications such as updates, Tips/Tricks, EMR changes and upgrade information and policy updates on a timely basis.
- Communicate effectiveness of vendor results with Rev Cycle Leadership and other departments monthly or when appropriate with emphasis on pre-defined KPIs and other metrics, identifying the need for additional analysis when necessary.
- Work with revenue cycle departments to understand and manage expectations and communication about vendor availability, responsiveness, and level of service.
- Review and audit accounts/claims to ensure that technology is being used to the fullest capabilities using findings as vendor training and educational opportunities.
- Aid in evaluating technology on the market (example HFMA, AHIMA, etc.) that can enhance revenue cycle productivity and outcome.
- Evaluate the impact of technology on processes and identify areas to promote and create efficiencies for staff and improve quality of service and revenue compliance.
- Lead work groups and advisory groups to provide input into the vendors use of the EMR tools.
- Confirm required new Contract Employee forms are complete, signed and submitted to HRIS on a timely basis. When they are approved to start, ensure that those new vendor contract employees are enrolled in and complete training classes in the Epic system and other appropriate training.
- Utilizes remedy to log issues, build and track assigned work. Conduct ticket review and prioritization regularly.
- Validate monthly invoice fees for services ensuring reporting and calculations are correct before submitting to AP.
- Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited College or University or 8 years of experience in lieu of degree
- High School Graduate
- Experience with DME/HME Billing & Collections.
- Previous work in Bright Tree Billing system preferred but not required.
Preferred Education and Experience
- 5 or more years experience in optimization, vendor experience, end user trouble shooting, process improvement, data analysis, help desk, EMR implementation or technical workflows.
Required Licensure and Certification
- EPIC Proficiency/ Epic Certification within 1 year of hire. within 1 Year
Knowledge Requirements
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel between Health System locations with minimal to no notice.
