This position is responsible for developing and managing the healthcare supply chain education program. This role ensures all departments adhere to established onboarding processes, provides a comprehensive training platform for new employees, and creates consistent educational materials for all departments. This role also leads the development of new workflows, supports all supply chain educational needs related to mergers and acquisitions as well as facilitates education and training that arise throughout the implementation of new systems and technology.

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
- Develop and implement onboarding standards across all departments to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Conduct new employee orientation sessions to familiarize staff with supply chain processes and protocols.
- Create and maintain education materials for all supply chain departments.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in supply chain management and education.
- Collaborate with department leaders on proper education protocols, requirements, and assessments.
- Develop, implement and optimize annual supply chain competencies.
- Provides tools for leaders to maintain established standards within their area.
- Conducts audits to ensure training standards are being upheld.
- Facilitates train the trainer education with department leaders and identified SMEs.
- Creates and maintains a system of continuous improvement across all departments including how education is delivered.
- Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field of study from an accredited college or university.
- 2 or more years of experience working in a supply chain environment
- 2 or more years facilitating adult learning in a classroom setting, mentoring/tutoring, or working in adult educational programs.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field of study from an accredited college or university.
- 3 or more years of experience in a healthcare environment.
Preferred Licensure and Certification
- Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP) - American Hospital Association Certification Center (AHA-CC) upon Hire
Required Language Skills
- Fluent English -
Knowledge Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced computer skills with the ability to learn and use a variety of computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint and Workday.
- Demonstrate professionalism and superior interpersonal communication and presentation skills, including the ability to interact and work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams from all levels of the organization.
- Required to complete the health system's Lean Certification within 12 months of hire
