Physician - Vascular Neurologist

The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Neurology, is seeking a full-time Vascular Neurologist Specialist to join its dynamic team and support the departmental mission of delivering the highest quality of care, as well as satisfying teaching, research, and academic responsibilities. 

The position involves providing comprehensive care for vascular neurology patients, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of stroke. Responsibilities include diagnosing, treating, and managing stroke patients in various settings, such as clinics, hospitals, and during consultations. The role also requires participation in on-call coverage and educating medical students, residents, and fellows through both formal and informal group settings.

Required Qualifications: 

  • MD/DO
  • Board certified/eligible in Neurology
  • Eligible for licensure in Kansas

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Vascular Neurology Fellowship training
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
