The University of Kansas Health System invites applications for a distinguished professor position in Neuro-Oncology. This prestigious Endowed Chair role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced, research-focused Neuro-Oncologist to join our interdisciplinary team. As a physician-scientist, you will have the resources and support to advance the field of neuro-oncologic care through cutting-edge research, clinical innovation, and leadership.

Position Overview:

  • Join a collaborative, high-volume program, working with two Neuro-Oncologists, a department of 63 Neurologists, 12 esteemed Neurosurgeons, and an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center.
  • Conduct basic science, translational, and clinical research, with approximately 80% research focus and 20% clinical responsibilities.
  • Benefit from access to advanced technology, including intraoperative MR and dedicated APP support.

Required Qualifications:

  • MD, MD/PhD, or DO
  • Board Certification in Neurology, Oncology, or other relevant specialty
  • Board Certification in Neuro-Oncology
  • Demonstrated success in obtaining NIH/NCI funding with current active funded research

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in brain tumor treatment and chemotherapy
