Position Summary / Career Interest:

With limited oversight, the PRN Consignment Analyst is responsible for knowledge and understanding of the end-to-end processes of the Consignment and Implant program to support all functions of the position. The Consignment and Implant analyst is responsible for processing requests/receipts for consignment products through perpetual inventory, monitoring consignment products throughout the health system in collaboration with clinical end-users to enhance the quality of care to our patients by reviewing and validating the products we use, maintaining par levels, working closely with vendors to optimize the consignment and implant program, and supporting bill only processes. The successful candidate will be an experienced supply chain professional who is able to critically think through complex process issues, implement improvement solutions, and work in a fast-paced work environment. This position supports departments across the organization working with a variety of suppliers to handle consignment products in various locations and service lines. This individual must be equally effective as an individual contributor and a team player.


Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible for developing and implementing system level processes for tissue, implants, and consignment products.
  • Works collaboratively with vendor/supplier to manage consignment inventory
  • Assist with the coordination of monthly/quarterly audits
  • Responds to requests for information from internal and external sources both from an auditing and regulatory nature
  • Follows and assist in establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), implements and verifies compliance of standard processes within the health system
  • Responds to customer requests, implementing required checklists, stock out procedures, recall effectiveness checks, requests for information
  • Works collaboratively with team, manager, and front-line customers to ensure continuity of patient care
  • Supports team and manager through implementation of program strategy changes to maximize growth of program
  • Proactively works with vendor/suppliers to understand changing practices within a product family to maintain adequate product supply and shares information with end-user leaders/teams and manager
  • Responsible for vendor/supplier compliance of policy/procedure for the health system including but not limited to consignment policy and vendor management policies
  • Actively engage in perpetual systems within the ERP, and strategize on process improvement opportunities
  • Participate in external collaboration to align industry best practices within our own workflows and processes- both process and system driven
  • Apply LEAN principles during the performance of duties
  • Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field of study from an accredited college or university. OR
  • 3 or more years of commensurate experience in healthcare supply chain or related work.


Preferred Education and Experience

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Health Services Administration or a related field of study from an accredited college or university. OR
  • 5 or more years of commensurate experience in healthcare supply chain or related work.


Preferred Licensure and Certification

  • TUKHS Lean Certification


Required Language Skills

  • Fluent English -


Knowledge Requirements

  • Basic and advance computer skills with the ability to learn and use a variety of computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, and Workday.
  • Must have a basic understanding of database concepts and use worksheets to manipulate and analyze data.
  • Advanced understanding of database concepts and ability to manipulate and analyze data.
