Position Summary / Career Interest:

The call center trainer is a dedicated training resource for the 24/7/365 switchboard call center. This position is responsible for the development, execution and implementation of in office and virtual training for the switchboard team.


Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
  • Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
  • 24/7 availability to support training needs on all shifts
  • Develop, implement, and lead in person and virtual training programs for the switchboard call center team
  • Identify individual and team skills gaps. Provide training as needed
  • Schedule all group and individual training sessions
  • On going collaboration with departmental leadership
  • Create training weekly, monthly and ad hoc training reports
  • Assists with operational and quality duties as needed
  • Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Required Education and Experience
  • 3 or more years in person and virtual training program creation and implementation experience.
  • 3 or more years of training experience in call center or customer service environment.
  • Experience creating training materials for in person and virtual training.

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Associates Degree in related field of study from an accredited college or university.

Knowledge Requirements
  • Above average computer skills.
  • Ability to communicate with a diverse population.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
