Physician - Great Bend Hospital: General Surgery

Responsibilities:

The University of Kansas Health System at Great Bend is seeking a General Surgeon for their Level IV trauma center.  This applicant will have completed an ACGME approved general medicine surgery residency and will be board certified/board eligible.  This candidate will also be ATLS and ACLS trained and certified and will maintain active certification.

The successful applicant will be joining an experienced and knowledgeable clinic and OR staff with a progressive and forward-thinking administrative team.  Clinic time (2.5 days per week) alternates with OR block time (2 days per week) with a call schedule of 1:3. Scope of work includes general surgical cases, EGD, colonoscopy, wound healing, laparoscopic surgery, and other surgical procedures.
