Supply Technician III Job

We currently have an opening for Supply Tech III

Responsibilities:

Adheres to departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance and technical skills.

Receives items into Inventory system.

Stocks bulk items within the warehouse.

Fulfills/Pulls Low Unit of Measure Requests by picking the items from the inventory and placing them in totes and on skids.

Re-stocks the hospital storeroom when at Main Hospital

Re-stocks other central supply areas when on-site

Picking and delivering STAT orders from hospital storeroom or central supply when on-site (Main Hospital or other clinical area)

Pre-stages multiple requests for delivery.

Loads and unloads shipments and deliveries.

Enters Inventory data into the computer system.

Functions as a primary resource for making scheduled and un-scheduled deliveries.

Participates in Cycle Counting and Inventory Counting.

Interacts within the department and throughout the hospital system to aid in fulfilling material needs for end users.

Performs housekeeping duties within the warehouse, attached office space, break rooms, conference rooms, meeting rooms, bathrooms and other public spaces within the warehouse facility.

Performs basic functions to support the continuous operations of the warehouse including, but not limited to: shoveling snow, sweeping the outside dock, cleaning up trash on the outside of the facility.

Takes an active role in maintaining inventory accuracy by communicating inventory issues to departmental leadership.

Communicates order problems/issues between distribution, materials management, and our internal and external customers.

Actively seeks opportunities to improve service level and relationships with our customers.

Functions as a team player assisting others in carrying out departmental duties and tasks.

Adheres to the established policies regarding attendance and punctuality.

Responds to emergency response call according to policy.

Performs any other related task as requested by management.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Associate's Degree preferred

Must pass an internal driving test

US Driver's License in good standing required

Must be able to read and understand Materials Safety Data Sheets

Prefer a minimum of two years of experience working in a warehouse environment
