We currently have an opening for Sterile Processing Technician.
Decontaminates, assembles and sterilizes instrumentation according to national guidelines and internal standards.
Operates departmental equipment within appropriate guidelines/policies/procedures.
Demonstrates high levels of quality control by following departmental policies/procedures and thorough documentation of sterilization process.
Effectively prioritizes and communicates customer needs within the department and with customers
Assists in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Functions as a preceptor for new employees when assigned.
Understands and identifies instrumentation and equipment utilized in all customer areas.
Performs other assigned duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager related to Sterile Processing.
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sterile Processing preferred
Certified CS/SPD or Surgical Technician preferred
CS/SPD certification within first year required
