We currently have an opening for Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities:

Adheres to departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance and technical skills.

Leads the operational activities of all non-managerial staff at the Main Hospital location (Supply Techs and Liaisons) to assure that the requirements of the Departmental leadership are met.

Accountable for assuring that the daily storeroom, order fulfillment and stocking activities are accomplished to the requirements of the Departmental leadership.

Must be knowledgeable about (and willing to perform) the various tasks associated with Supply Techs and Liaisons.

Performs quality control functions for daily operations (including validation of receipts from the warehouse and measurements of inbound low unit [pre-pick] quality).

Supervises the specific duties of specific individuals working at the location to assure that the requirements of the Departmental Leadership are met.

Collaborates with MM Techs and Clinical Support Manager to provide exceptional customer service and meet the inventory management goals through adherence to inventory control and supply distribution best practice.

Coordinates Inventory Management activities with the Distribution and/or Warehouse Manager.

Receives items into Inventory system.

Stocks bulk items into the storeroom.

Coordinates and Supervises Cycle Counting and Inventory Counting Activities.

Coordinates and Supervises Hospital Dock Activities.

Pre-stages in-bound totes for delivery.

Loads and unloads shipments and deliveries.

Enters Inventory data into the computer system.

Interacts within the department and throughout the hospital system to aid in fulfilling material needs for end users.

Takes an active role in maintaining inventory accuracy by communicating inventory issues to departmental leadership.

Communicates order problems/issues between distribution, materials management, and our internal and external customers.

Actively seeks opportunities to improve service level and relationships with our customers.

Functions as a team player assisting others in carrying out departmental duties and tasks.

Adheres to the established policies regarding attendance and punctuality.

Responds to emergency response call according to policy.

Performs any other related task as requested by management.

Assists as a back-up for the Support Supervisor.

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred

Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred

Must be able to communicate in oral and written form to all levels of staff

Must be capable of preforming Essential Functions

Must be able to read and understand Materials Safety Data Sheets

Prefer minimum of two years of experience working in a warehouse environment or a Med/Surg Supply storeroom

Health care background preferred

Prefer minimum of one year of experiences as a delivery driver
