We currently have an opening for a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in Infection Control.
Demonstrate knowledge of Infection, prevention and control issues
Demonstrates collaborative working relationship and works under the direction of the Infection Control
Performs daily review of positive patient cultures and assists unit nurses in identifying and placing patients in appropriate transmission-based precautions.
Performs data collection, production and analysis for Infection Prevention and Control Surveillance Program
Serves as a first line contact for nursing and house staff questions regarding transmission-based precautions and exposures to transmissible agents
Provides formal and informal Infection Prevention and Control education to hospital associates
Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
Minimum of 2 years' experience in specialty clinical area required
RN license in the state of KS required
Master's degree preferred
CIC certification required
