This is an exciting opportunity for applicants to gain skills and expertise in caring for patients on one of our expansion units set to open Fall 2017. We currently have an opening for a Clinical Nurse II on our Acute Care/Urology/Vascular/Gyn Oncology unit.

This unit offers a unique opportunity to become an expert nurse in multiple specialties while caring for urology, vascular, and gynecological oncology patients. This fast-paced, surgical Progressive Care Unit provides individualized care to patients who require surgical interventions and medical supervision to alleviate symptoms and manage disorders of the urinary, reproductive and vascular systems. This 32-bed Telemetry Unit will utilize cutting edge technology to provide compassionate, data-driven, high quality care to our patients. Responsibilities

Provides professional nursing care through assessment and accurate documentation, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation for the comfort and well-being of patients

Carries out a plan of care specific to unit competencies for the target patient population

Coordinates care delivery and education through collaboration with patient, family and all health care team providers to ensure safe, effective and quality patient care

Follows organizational policies in providing safe patient care

Requirements:

BSN preferred, minimum requirement is ADN with 2 years or more of experience and must complete BSN within 5 years of hire

Registered Nurse in the State of Kansas or eligible required

BLS Certification required

2+ years of experience as a Clinical Nurse required
