We currently have an opening for Clinical Nurse I. This Medical Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit is a 36 bed medical telemetry unit that specializes in caring for patients with a wide array of diagnoses requiring cardiac monitoring and IV medications/infusions. Our nurses are engaged with leading edged therapies used to treat unique conditions in a fast paced, high acuity environment. Our nurses have the opportunity to work with a variety of physician services in the hospital and through this develop the expertise to care for our diverse population.

Responsibilities

Provides professional nursing care through assessment and accurate documentation, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation for the comfort and well-being of patients

Carries out a plan of care specific to unit competencies for the target patient population

Coordinates care delivery and education through collaboration with patient, family and all health care team providers to ensure safe, effective and quality patient care

Follows organizational policies in providing safe patient care

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing Required

Registered Nurse in the State of Kansas or eligible required

BLS Certification required

6 months to 2 year's experience as a Clinical Nurse required
