CT Technologist Job

Schedule: Full Time

Shift: Weekends

Hours: 7 a - 7:30 p Fri - Sun

The Radiology Department is staffed with Board Certified Diagnostic Radiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and Nuclear Medicine Physicians dedicated to providing quality patient care.

We currently have an opening for a CT Technologist.

The CT technologist is responsible for producing images the produce cross sectional imaging for the purpose of diagnosing disease processes. Procedures can be performed at various locations throughout the main campus, West Plaza, Medical Office Building, and Westwood. CT technologists are expected to participate in on-going training and education.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the operation of CT scanners and auxiliary devices within the scope of designated locations.
  • Responsible for performing routine CT procedures at a very high standard with an increasing knowledge and ability to perform specialty studies with experience.
  • Must have an excellent working knowledge of contrast reactions and responses and be able to respond immediately to patient needs.
  • Ensures that all staff is operating equipment optimally and safely by adhering to policies, procedures and protocols.


Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology Technology required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • ARRT (R)(CT), BLS, Kansas Licensure required
  • Must be licensed by the State of Kansas Board of Healing Arts.
  • Experience performing basic CT procedures required.
  • One to three years of large facility experience preferred.
  • Second Language preferred.
  • Strong computer skills related to RIS. PACS, EMR required.
