We currently have an opening for Application Architect


The position oversees advanced design in the development of new applications/systems or technical processes, directs activities required to complete major enterprise and departmental application projects. Specifies technical design approach and standards; demonstrate deep expertise in technical design by articulating the strengths and weaknesses associated with utilizing alternative architecture solutions.

Must have a minimum of 8 years as software engineer/developer or 4 years of applications architect experience.

Recommend upgrades or enhancements based on technical trends or changes in our existing solutions; Determine new ways to package existing technologies in order to produce innovative architectures; suggest new hardware and software that should be developed to surpass the limitations of existing solutions.

Release Management: develop, implement, and promote adherence to the release processes.

Team Foundation Server: Responsible for integration, implementation, and maintenance of TFS.

Expert knowledge of Microsoft stack: .NET Framework, C#.NET, SQL, TFS, API, MVC, ASP.NET, Azure

Expert proficiency in HTML 5, CSS, Javascript, XML, JQuery, Ajax

Proficiency with SQL Server configuration, T-SQL, Big Data.

Proficiency in network protocols; HTTP, DNS, IP, Load balancing.

Knowledge of Mobile application architecture, development, and deployment

Able to work independently without direct supervision.

Provide advanced techniques and knowledge; lead technical design discussions and best practice learning sessions.

Strong ability to communicate, teach, and mentor other application engineers in design, coding, and development techniques; conduct regular code reviews, and maintain best practices document and adherence.

Ability to communicate with a non-technical audience in presenting/discussing a technical subject matter at all levels of the organization including senior leadership.

Must be flexible to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Possess the personal characteristics of professionalism, credibility, commitment to high standards, innovation, discriminating judgment and accountability.

Knowledge of SharePoint architecture and best practices a plus.

BI Knowledge, Analytics, Dimensional Modeling, SSAS, SSRS, SAS, ETL, Data Architect a plus.

Experience working in the healthcare industry is a plus.


High School diploma required

Bachelor's in Technology or related study or- 7 years of experience as Architect required

Master's Degree preferred
