This is an exciting opportunity for applicants to gain skills and expertise in caring for patients on one of our expansion units set to open Fall 2017. We currently have an opening for a Unit Coordinator on our Urology & Gyn Oncology unit.
This unit offers a unique opportunity to become an expert nurse in multiple specialties while caring for urology and gynecological oncology patients. This fast-paced, surgical Progressive Care Unit provides individualized care to patients who require surgical interventions and medical supervision to alleviate symptoms and manage disorders of the urinary and reproductive systems. This 32-bed Telemetry Unit will utilize cutting edge technology to provide compassionate, data-driven, high quality care to our patients. Provides education to the patients and families regarding disease and treatment plan.
Contributes to the orientation, education, and evaluation of staff.
Keeps manager informed of department or patient care problems or needs.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing Required;
Registered Nurse in State of Kansas required
BLS Certification required
Two years of clinical experience preferred
