Clinical Nurse - Perioperative Services Job

We currently have an opening for Clinic Nurse in our Preoperative Assessment Clinic located on our hospital main campus.

Be on the forefront of surgical patient management and join our preoperative assessment team! In our unique environment, nurses work collaboratively with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and pharmacists to optimize a diverse, high volume surgical patient population. This position is a weekday schedules, no weekends, holidays, or call requirement. A great position for experienced RN with business hours working in a fast paced environment. Successful nurses will possess attention to detail, empathy, great interpersonal communication skills and have two or more years of experience in Med -Surg/Perioperative or Critical Care nursing.

Provides professional nursing care through assessment and accurate documentation, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation for the comfort and well-being of patients

Carries out a plan of care specific to unit competencies for the target patient population

Coordinates care delivery and education through collaboration with patient, family and all health care team providers to ensure safe, effective and quality patient care

Follows organizational policies in providing safe patient care


Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing Required;

Associate's Degree accepted with relevant work experience

Registered Nurse in the State of Kansas or eligible required

BLS Certification required

2+ years of experience as a Clinical Nurse required
